Geography: Centered around Mount Youngmoon (ףڦߣ:1,157m) in the middle of province with Bonmi mountain, Baekwoon peaks, Doil peaks stretching from south to North and Sungji peak to southeast of Dogae creating a rugged mountainous region with beautiful natural scenery. Namhan River and Bukhan River merge in Yangsu-Ri to form the beautiful scenic Dumulmuri (two water head). However, as it is located in the inland of the eastern region, the temperature variation is extreme between summer and winter.
Culture: The Yongmoon Temple, founded by the Great Monk Wonhyeo of Shilla Dynasty, and a 1,100 year-old ginko tree are very famous in the region.
