Geography: Uijeongbu-si is a gateway to northern Seoul and northern Gyeonggi��s central city for transportation, industry, economy, culture and education.Gyungwon railway and Peace Road pass right through downtown from south to north, railways run through the surrounding western hills, and the no. 43 national road runs over the Cheonbosan(Mountain)to Chulwon. The outskirts of the city are surrounded by the Dobongsan(Mountain), Suraksan(Mountain), and Chunbosan(Mountain), and the Jungryanggang(River) flows south to the Hangang(River) and creates beautiful scenery.
