| The current na��Bucheon��is the 8th name used by our local administrative jurisdiction followed by Jubuto, Jangjae, Suju, Annam, Gyeyang, Gilju, and Bupyeong. In 1994 Bucheon celebrated its 80th anniversary.The garden city of Bucheon is now a city covered with a forest of apartments.
It is connected by Gyeongin railway and Gyeongin Highway and has active urban agriculture and well developed cattle, floricultural and machine industries. It recently hosted the Bucheon Cartoon Festival and Bucheon International Fantasy Film Festival and lives up to its reputation of a city of culture. |

Boksagol Art Festival(During May)
With urbanization of the region since 1973, when it was elevated to the status of city, the festival was started by artists from the region trying to bring back the memory of the region��s old glory. They held the first event in April 1985.
