History of Yangsuri Market |
| The Yangsuri 5 day market which were held at place called Dumulmari, Yangsuri where Namhan river and Bukhan river merges, was the market for dealing villager's important worker and biggest asset, a cows. Thus became cow market. It started as small scale livestock(cow) market and continued keep in existence till early 80s and eventually disappeared. Since then, Yangseo 5 day market have been established. The current folk market was established and in operation since the official approval from the Provincial government in 1999. |
